The Walt Disney Company in Florida is seeking an Electronic Technician to provide hardware support across multiple business lines, including Avaya/Cisco telephony, in-room tech, Wi-Fi, and TIMELOX systems.

You will install and sustain layer 1 infrastructure, work on GPON/data networks, and support events with voice and data connectivity across Walt Disney World properties. 2+ years of hands-on telecom/network experience preferred.

Qualificações

• Valid Florida state driver's license
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Telephony experience
• Layer 1 experience
• Knowledge of Cisco/Avaya voice systems and T1/Data circuits
• Ability to terminate and solve CAT6a cabling
• Knowledge of passive optical network (PON) and data network technologies
• Minimum of 2 years’ hands‑on experience with Cisco and/or Avaya environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficiency in standard office software programs and mobile electronic devices

The Electronic Technician is more than just a modern-day technician; we provide hardware support to multiple lines of businesses! In this role, we may respond to an issue with Avaya or Cisco phone systems, tackle Wi‑Fi and TIMELOX equipment issues and even work on Resort in‑room technology devices. Additionally, we focus on the installation and full sustainment of the network and data devices including the layer 1 infrastructure supporting our devices. We also could support the special events team throughout the Walt Disney World property providing voice and data connectivity for any events that need assistance.
