Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 9 years of post-education construction inspection experience.
• Knowledge of telecommunication facilities (MW, fiber, OPGW, ADSS).
• Ability to work around energized facilities and long travel.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections on telecom systems for transmission and substation projects.
• Evaluate workmanship, materials, installation, and safety compliance.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and as-built documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and contractors.
• Review design drawings, specs, and contract documents for discrepancies.
• Mentor junior inspection personnel and lead inspections when needed.
