Job summary

Delta Oaks Group seeks an Engineering Manager to oversee day-to-day above and below grade inspection services for telecom structures. You will lead field crews, review data, and coordinate with the Director of Inspections to develop procedures that ensure schedule, capacity, and quality goals are met.

The role requires at least four years in structural engineering inspections, EI with PE preferred, and strong familiarity with TIA/EIA-222 and tower hardware.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four (4) years of experience in the evaluation and/or inspection of telecommunication structures, including towers and foundations.
• EI required with PE registration preferred.
• Familiarity with codes and standards for telecom structures (TIA/EIA-222).
• Ability to interpret design drawings and spatial relationships for telecom infrastructure.
• Strong communication with contractors, clients, and vendors.
• Knowledge of bolted and welded connections and tower hardware.
• Tower reinforcement/erection experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and MVR check compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day aspects of the inspections department and oversee field crews.
• Coordinate with the Director of Inspections to develop/adjust procedures for field and office work.
• Review and compile department deliverables (e.g., inspection reports, mappings).
• Track field work status and ensure schedule adherence; address performance issues.
• Assist in training field crews on technical, safety, and company policies.
• Maintain safety guidelines and distribute personnel/equipment to meet client needs.
