Job summary

Hingewa is seeking a Structural Engineer to support our telecom tower portfolio in a remote-friendly role. You will lead and mentor a team of engineers, review analyses, and serve as Engineer-of-Record on signed and sealed deliverables.

Responsibilities include performing seismic and wind loading studies, designing tower modifications, coordinating with drafting and vendors, and ensuring compliance with IBC, TIA, ACI and ASCE-7 standards. PE license required; SE a plus.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree focusing on civil/structural engineering.
• Minimum 5 years structural engineering experience; tower industry preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) required; SE license a plus.
• Knowledge of IBC, TIA Rev I/H, ACI, ASCE-7 and related codes.
• Proficiency with TNX Tower and RISA 3D software.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor a group of 4-6 engineers in structural analyses.
• Review analyses by Design Engineers for accuracy.
• Implement training documents with the Director of Structural Engineering.
• Perform structural analyses on towers and foundations to assess capacity.
• Review foundation calculations for thoroughness.
• Perform seismic and wind loading assessments.
• Design tower modifications and coordinate with drafting for drawings.
• Serve as Engineer-of-Record for deliverables.
• Meet production targets and KPIs with leadership.
• Prepare reports for permitting and stay current with industry standards.
• Represent the company on TIA sub-committees.
• Coordinate with vendors and external firms to meet field deadlines.
• Communicate engineering results to operations and leasing teams.
