Job summary

CEC Companies seeks a Construction Manager to plan, direct, and oversee field construction of telecom and utility infrastructure, including fiber, coax, and copper outside plant. You will lead field supervisors and crews, ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence from mobilization through closeout.

This leadership role requires coordinating with cities, utilities, inspectors, and customers, reviewing QA/QC results, and maintaining NEC/NESC/OSHA and local code compliance while work occurs in

Qualifications

• 5+ years telecom/utility construction experience with supervision
• Must have valid driver's license and insurable driving record
• OSHA 30 preferred; telecom certifications a plus

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and direct construction activities from mobilization to closeout
• Lead field supervisors, drill crews, and installation teams to meet safety, quality, and schedule goals
• Oversee aerial/underground construction, including restoration and as-built documentation
• Coordinate permitting, inspections, and approvals with cities and utilities
• Ensure work complies with NEC, NESC, OSHA and local codes
• Communicate project status to leadership, customers, and stakeholders
• Maintain accurate closeout documentation and photos
