Job summary

Centerline Communications LLC seeks an experienced Structural Engineer (SE) to join our A&E division, focusing on structural analysis and design for telecom infrastructure, towers, and mounting systems across North America.

The ideal candidate holds a civil/structural degree, demonstrates code knowledge (TIA/EIA-222, ASCE 7, ACI), and is comfortable with travel while mentoring junior staff and coordinating with CAD teams for safe, compliant designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering is required.
• Master’s degree in civil or structural engineering is preferred.
• Working knowledge of code standards (TIA/EIA-222, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC, NDS) is required.
• Minimum 2 years’ AutoCAD experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Assess load capacity for EV charging stations and towers.
• Prepare detailed reports outlining capabilities and modification recommendations.
• Review service requests and guide field inspection reports.
• Mentor younger engineers and review work for quality.
• Contribute to designs by analyzing rooftops, water tanks, and elevated platforms.
• Examine tower structures and foundations across configurations.
• Perform analyses using manual calculations and structural software.
• Collaborate with CAD and admin teams to finalize documentation.
• Support design modifications and foundations for telecom infrastructure.
• Adhere to safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
