Job summary

Cable Services Company, Inc. is seeking a field technician to support telecom crews on outdoor construction projects. You will perform routine tasks, handle materials, set up traffic control, and ensure safety and documentation for daily assignments.

The role requires endurance for long shifts, ability to lift heavy loads, and reliable attendance. Travel to project sites and outdoor work under varying weather conditions are expected.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have at least two years' driving experience with no major infractions in the last three years.
• Two years of construction experience preferred.
• Pass pre-employment drug test and DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine construction activities such as pulling a rope, climbing ladders, using hand tools, digging with a shovel, cable handling, and general cleanup.
• Stock truck with materials to ensure adequate supply for daily work assignments.
• Organize materials, tools and equipment.
• Set up traffic control signs and cones and flag/direct traffic as needed.
• Complete daily equipment safety inspections and maintain checks.
• Complete all required company documentation for each assignment (timesheet, truck report, expense report).
• Work safely and comply with company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties to help the team complete projects.
