Job summary

Cable Services Company, Inc. is seeking a hands-on laborer to support telecommunications field crews in Wareham, MA. The role involves outdoor construction activities, loading materials, organizing tools, and assisting with traffic control and safety procedures.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, two years of driving experience, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in varying weather. Travel may be required; pre-employment screening and a DOT physical are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driving record with at least two years of driving experience required.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and criminal background screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine construction activities such as pulling rope, ladder work, hand tools, digging, cable handling and cleanup.
• Stock truck with materials to ensure daily supply for assignments.
• Organize materials, tools and equipment; set up traffic control signs and cones; direct traffic as needed.
• Complete daily equipment safety inspections and maintain checks; complete timesheets and reports per company standards.
• Perform duties safely and in compliance with all safety policies; other duties as assigned to help team complete projects.
