Job summary

Star Construction, LLC is seeking a Laborer Telecom Aerial to support an Aerial Telecom Crew with installation and maintenance of fiber and telecom cables and materials. This field-based role provides hands-on training and opportunities to grow within the team.

You’ll work outdoors, perform digging, flag traffic, stock and prepare equipment, and respond to overtime/on-call duties as needed. Must be 18+, able to obtain certification, and legally work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company.
• Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Certified pole climber or willing to become certified

Responsibilities

• Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members as needed
• Reposition or move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment as directed
• Ensure door-tagging and resident notifications for construction activities are completed before starting work each day
• Stock, clean, and maintain all company vehicles and equipment
• Perform hand digging using shovels and mechanical tools
• Direct/flag traffic flow in line with local DOT guidelines
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned
