Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Field Service Engineer in the United States to support the development, test, deployment, sustainment, and QA of a complex telecommunications system. You’ll work with customers and vendors, conduct surveys, install and configure equipment, and assist with commissioning tests.

The role requires active security clearance, hands-on field installation experience, and willingness to travel extensively.

Qualifications

• Active security clearance is required.
• Experience with surveys, installations, and cable management.
• Understanding of DISN or related networks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development of procedures and installation plans.
• Install, configure, test, and validate network components at sites.
• Coordinate with customers and vendors for site surveys and activation.
• Prepare and update site/engineering documentation and reports.
• Support commissioning testing and troubleshoot issues in field.
