Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support the design, installation, testing and sustainment of a complex telecommunication system. You will perform site surveys, install and configure equipment, and coordinate with customers, vendors and Facilities to meet project milestones.

The role requires an active Secret clearance, experience with DISA guidelines, and willingness to travel extensively to CONUS/OCONUS locations, ensuring IT&A readiness and quality deliverables.

Qualifications

Active Secret security clearance.
Experience with surveys, installations, cable work, and configuring Ciena gear.
Knowledge of ANSI/BICSI standards and site design practices.
Willingness to travel extensively and lift up to 50 pounds.
Proficiency with MS Office and Visio.

Responsibilities

Develop method of procedures (MOP) and installation documentation.
Install, test, and validate IT&A systems for operational readiness.
Conduct site surveys, installations, testing and quality control activities.
Coordinate with customers, vendors, and facilities for site readiness.
Prepare Site Survey Reports (SSR) and Site Engineering Solutions (SES).
Review project plans, schedules, and resources to support enterprise requirements.
