Job summary

Acuative Corporation is seeking a Networking Field Service Technician to perform installation and maintenance of networking hardware and telephony systems within the Phoenix area. The role requires hands-on hardware skills, site surveys, and timely documentation of work performed.

Candidates should be comfortable with 4-hour response windows, travel within a 50-mile radius, and a 1099 contractor arrangement. A valid driver’s license and drug/background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of networking hardware and topologies.
• Familiarity with networking products and interfacing.
• Understanding of telephony systems (VOIP, PBX) with hands-on hardware support.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain networking hardware including routers, switches, and WAPs.
• Install and maintain telephony equipment and circuits.
• Support retail technology systems – POS, Digital Signage, Video Surveillance.
• Handle circuit extensions and structured cabling.
• Perform site surveys and site audits.
• Submit job-related documents on time.
• Install LEO satellite receivers and fixed wireless antennas.
