Job summary

Acuative, the nation's leading independent provider of telecommunications field services, seeks Contract (1099) Field Service Technicians to install and maintain voice and data networks, servers, routers, switches, and retail technology systems within a 50-mile radius of the Phoenix area. This role may involve 4-hour response times and on-site completions typically within 2–4 hours.

Qualifications

• Hands-on installation and repair of networking hardware and telephony equipment.
• Ability to perform site surveys and document work clearly.
• Experience with VOIP and PBX systems; familiarity with data networks.
• Proficiency with Windows desktop/server hardware and basic cabling.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain routers, switches, and WAPs.
• Install telephony circuits and equipment.
• Support POS, digital signage, and video surveillance systems.
• Perform cabling and site surveys; complete documentation.
• Install fixed wireless antennas and LEO satellite hardware.
