Job summary

TechServ Engineering seeks a field-based FCR for Telecom Fiber Construction responsible for overseeing site activities in coordination with third-party contractors. The role emphasizes safety, environmental compliance, QA/QC, and adherence to project sequencing while providing regular construction status to the project team.

Candidates should possess a degree in civil/electrical engineering or construction management (or related field) with relevant utility-industry experience, OSHA 30hr

Qualifications

• Adherence to safety and environmental regulations and policies.
• Ability to review drawings, specs and standards, and ensure QA/QC.
• Coordinate construction activities to meet project schedule and provide updates.

Responsibilities

• Establish a culture of Safety and Environmental compliance.
• Oversee installation activities per drawings, specs, permits and standards.
• Understand contract fundamentals and enforce terms in field settings.
• Review, prioritize and facilitate construction activities to meet schedule.
• Provide project updates on construction activities.
• Coordinate large materials and heavy equipment deliveries.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Mentor others and manage multiple projects.
