Job summary

PACS Group, Inc. is seeking a Telecom Engineer to oversee the administration, support, and continuous operation of voice and telecommunications services across a large multi-site healthcare environment.

You will own telecom service requests, incident escalations, and support daily operations to ensure reliable voice, fax, paging, and related communications for PACS facilities. The role involves coordinating with carriers, vendors, and internal IT teams, plus participating in modernization

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience supporting business voice services across multiple locations.
• Experience configuring, provisioning, deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting VoIP phone systems.
• Experience supporting cloud fax services, fax analog telephone adapters, overhead paging systems, and number porting.
• Experience coordinating with telecommunications carriers and supporting service migrations and transitions.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver responsive customer service in a technical support environment.
• Experience diagnosing and resolving telecommunications issues using remote management tools.

Responsibilities

• Own and resolve telecommunications service requests, incident escalations, and operational issues involving VoIP, cloud fax, analog telephone adapters, paging systems.
• Configure, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot telecommunications infrastructure with continuity, reliability, and security standards.
• Coordinate installations, activations, migrations, and upgrades with carriers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation and asset records for emergency calling requirements and compliance.
• Provide technical consultation, user training, and operational support translating technical concepts for diverse audiences.
• Participate in projects and improvements to enhance service reliability and operational readiness.
