Enterprise Solutions Inc. is seeking a skilled Cisco Telecom Engineer to support and maintain our enterprise voice infrastructure in St. Louis.

The role focuses on CUCM and VoIP platforms, SIP trunking, call routing, and ensuring high reliability of telecommunications services. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of telecom or IT infrastructure experience, hands-on CUCM expertise, and familiarity with Cisco Jabber, Finesse, and IVR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications or related field; equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in telecommunications or IT infrastructure support.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Call Manager / CUCM and enterprise VoIP.
• Knowledge of SIP trunking, voice gateways, CUBE, and call routing.
• Familiarity with Cisco Jabber, Cisco Finesse; Windows OS experience.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot CUCM and enterprise VoIP environments.
• Provide technical support for Jabber, Finesse, IVR, call routing, SIP trunking, and call recording.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with voice gateways, CUBE routers, and network connectivity.
• Manage extensions, DID numbers, and contact center schedules.
• Maintain overhead paging and integrated door/gate access communication systems.
• Perform telecom cable tracing and coordinate with external vendors.
• Manage service tickets, document resolutions, and generate utilization reports.
• Assist in maintaining reliable voice services through proactive troubleshooting.

Job description

We are looking for a skilled Cisco Telecom Engineer to support and maintain enterprise voice communication infrastructure. This role involves managing Cisco telephony platforms, troubleshooting VoIP connectivity, supporting contact center applications, and ensuring the reliability and availability of telecommunications services across the organization. The ideal candidate will have practical experience with Cisco Unified Communications, SIP-based telephony, call routing, and telecom infrastructure support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) and enterprise VoIP environments.
• Provide technical support for Cisco Jabber, Cisco Finesse, Interactive Voice Response (IVR), call routing, SIP trunking, and call recording solutions.
• Diagnose and resolve issues involving voice gateways, Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE) routers, analog telephone devices, and network connectivity.
• Manage telephone extensions, Direct Inward Dialing (DID) numbers, and contact center schedules.
• Maintain and troubleshoot overhead paging systems and integrated door or gate access communication systems.
• Perform telecom cable tracing, support 66-block cross-connects, and coordinate technical activities with external vendors.
• Manage telecommunications service tickets, document troubleshooting procedures and resolutions, and generate system utilization and availability reports.
• Assist in maintaining reliable voice services through proactive troubleshooting and timely incident resolution.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications or a related discipline; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• At least 3 years of experience in telecommunications, voice communications, or IT infrastructure support.
• Hands-on expertise with Cisco Call Manager / CUCM and enterprise VoIP platforms.
• Working knowledge of SIP trunking, voice gateways, CUBE routers, and call routing technologies.
• Familiarity with Cisco Jabber, Cisco Finesse, and telecommunications cabling practices is preferred.
• Experience working with Windows operating systems and Windows Server environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cisco certifications or other relevant telecommunications and networking certifications.
• Practical experience supporting enterprise telephony and contact center infrastructure.
