Job summary

PACS Group, Inc. is seeking a Telecom Engineer to administer and support voice and telecommunications services across a large healthcare environment.

You will own incident escalations, coordinate with carriers and internal teams, and help drive modernization efforts ensuring patient care continuity. The role requires 3+ years in telecom support, experience with VoIP, cloud fax, and paging systems, and collaboration across facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT/Telecommunications/Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience supporting business voice services across multiple locations.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting VoIP phone systems.
• Experience with cloud fax, fax adapters, and overhead paging systems.
• Experience coordinating with carriers and service migrations.
• Strong written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own and resolve telecom service requests and incident escalations (VoIP, cloud fax, paging).
• Configure, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot telecom infrastructure while ensuring reliability and compliance.
• Coordinate installations, activations, migrations, and upgrades with carriers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Maintain telecom documentation, asset records, and emergency-location data for compliance.
• Provide technical guidance and training to facility admins and stakeholders.
• Support telecom projects to improve reliability, efficiency, and readiness.
