Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Telecom Engineer to design, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise telecommunication solutions for a large healthcare system. The role focuses on Cisco Call Manager and Cisco CUBE, with automation work for voicemail and extension routing, in a hybrid schedule with periodic onsite work in Neenah, WI.

Qualifications

• Experience as a telecom engineer supporting enterprise telephony environments.
• Hands-on configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco Call Manager.
• Hands-on setup and maintenance of Cisco CUBE in production.
• Experience in healthcare or large enterprise environments.
• Willingness to travel onsite within about one hour of hospital locations.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and support Cisco Call Manager for reliable telephony services.
• Manage Cisco CUBE configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with IT and telecom teams to design and optimize telecommunication solutions.
• Develop automation for voicemail workflows and extension routing.
• Participate in on-call rotation roughly every six weeks.
• Respond to telecom incidents and onsite issues as needed.
• Document configurations, changes, and procedures for knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to system upgrades, integrations, and telecom projects.
