Job summary

PACS Group, Inc. is seeking a Telecom Engineer to manage voice and telecommunications across a large multi-site healthcare environment.

You will own requests, resolve incidents, and coordinate with vendors to ensure reliable communications that support patient care and business continuity. Based in Salt Lake City or remote from other locations, the role offers competitive salary and benefits, including health coverage, PTO, a 401(k) plan, and EAP, with opportunities to lead modernization

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Three or more years of experience supporting business voice services across multiple locations.
Experience configuring, provisioning, deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting VoIP phone systems.

Responsibilities

Own and resolve telecommunications service requests, incident escalations, and operational issues involving VoIP, paging, and related platforms.
Configure, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot telecommunications infrastructure for service continuity and security.
Coordinate installations, activations, migrations, and upgrades with carriers, vendors, and internal teams.
Maintain accurate telecommunications documentation, asset records, and location data for compliance.
Provide technical consultation and training to facility admins and stakeholders.
Participate in projects to improve reliability, efficiency, and user experience.
