Job summary

PACS is seeking a Telecom Engineer to own the administration, support, and reliability of voice and telecom services across a large healthcare network. You will partner with vendors, internal IT, and facility staff to ensure continuous operations and compliance in daily care activities.

The role requires 3+ years in telecom/VoIP support, experience with RingCentral or similar platforms, and a Bachelor’s in IT/engineering. Remote or Utah-area candidates considered with some travel.

Qualifications

• Three+ years supporting business voice across multiple locations.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting VoIP systems and cloud fax.
• Experience coordinating with carriers and service migrations.

Responsibilities

• Own telecom service requests, incidents, and escalations across multi-site environment.
• Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot VoIP, paging, and fax platforms ensuring reliability.
• Coordinate activations, migrations, and integrations with carriers and IT teams.
• Maintain telecom documentation, assets, and emergency location data.
• Provide training and guidance to facility admins and engineers.
• Support telecom modernization projects to improve service and readiness.
