Job summary

TelCom Construction, LLC is seeking a Telecom Drill Bores Operator to operate drill equipment for underground telecommunications cables and infrastructure.

You will determine bore paths, locate utilities, and safely operate all equipment to complete assigned tasks in all weather. A valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it is required, along with a high school diploma or relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver's license (not Provisional) with acceptable driving record.
• Valid Class A Commercial driver's license with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it.
• Experience with drilling equipment and bore design processes.

Responsibilities

• Determine bore path and locate utilities.
• Safely operate and control all necessary equipment to complete assigned tasks.
• Verify existing utilities by potholing to determine bore path.
• Utilize Mud mixing systems.
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule.
• Responsible for site setup, cleanup, and equipment maintenance.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
