Job summary

TelCom Construction, LLC is seeking a Telecom Drill Bores Operator responsible for operating drill equipment to install underground telecommunications cables and infrastructure. You will work in the field, coordinating with crews to ensure timely bore operations while adhering to safety protocols.

This role requires attention to detail, ability to work in varied weather conditions, and a valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it.
• Experience with drilling equipment and bore operations.

Responsibilities

• Determine bore path and locate utilities.
• Safely operate and control all necessary equipment to complete tasks.
• Verify existing utilities by potholing to determine bore path.
• Utilize Mud mixing systems.
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule.
• Site set-up, clean-up and equipment maintenance.
• Work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
