Job summary

Star Construction, LLC is seeking a Telecom Drill Bores Operator to drive drilling equipment for underground telecom installations. You will determine bore paths, locate utilities, and manage bore scheduling while operating and maintaining equipment in all weather conditions.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, a valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement (or willingness to obtain), and experience with drilling equipment.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Experience operating drilling equipment and understanding bore design concepts.
• Must have valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Determine bore path and locate utilities.
• Safely operate and control drilling equipment to complete tasks.
• Verify utilities by potholing to confirm bore path.
• Develop and maintain bore schedule.
• Site setup, cleanup, and equipment maintenance.
• Work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
