The Addison Group is seeking a detail-oriented Dispatcher in Buffalo Grove, IL to support a busy telecommunications operations team. You will coordinate field technicians, manage service requests, and ensure arrivals align with scheduled times.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in admin, customer service, or related role or a bachelor’s degree with no prior work experience.
• Telecommunications experience is preferred.
• Strong verbal communication and professional phone etiquette.
• Ability to communicate clearly in a fast-paced, high-volume call environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and assign field technicians to service requests based on scheduling needs.
• Make high-volume outbound calls to verify appointment details and times.
• Monitor schedules to ensure timely arrivals at customer locations.
• Document call results, updates, and confirmations in the tracking system.
• Identify conflicts and communicate issues to the appropriate teams.
• Follow up on pending requests and address delays with customers and techs.
• Maintain steady communication with technicians and internal teams throughout the day.
• Handle approximately 40–50 service work orders daily once trained.
