Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and assign field technicians to service requests based on scheduling needs.
• Make high-volume outbound calls to verify appointment details and times.
• Monitor schedules to ensure timely arrivals at customer locations.
• Document call results, updates, and confirmations in the tracking system.
• Identify conflicts and communicate issues to the appropriate teams.
• Follow up on pending requests and address delays with customers and techs.
• Maintain steady communication with technicians and internal teams throughout the day.
• Handle approximately 40–50 service work orders daily once trained.

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Dispatcher to join a busy telecommunications operations team. This individual will coordinate field technicians, manage service requests, and ensure technicians arrive at customer locations within their scheduled timeframes. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and confident communicating with technicians and internal departments over the phone.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and assign field technicians to incoming service requests based on scheduling requirements and service priorities
• Make high-volume outbound calls to technicians to verify appointment details and confirm scheduled arrival times
• Monitor technician schedules and track progress to ensure timely arrivals at customer locations
• Document call results, technician updates, and service confirmations in the internal tracking system
• Identify scheduling conflicts or potential delays and communicate issues to the appropriate departments
• Follow up on outstanding service requests and address situations where technicians are running behind schedule
• Maintain consistent communication with technicians and internal project teams throughout the day
• Manage approximately 40–50 service work orders daily once fully trained

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in a professional, administrative, retail, customer service, or other customer-facing environment OR a bachelor's degree with no prior work experience
• Telecommunications experience is preferred
• Strong verbal communication skills and professional phone etiquette
• Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently in a high-volume call environment
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple time-sensitive assignments
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
