Job summary

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of experience in project coordination, dispatching, customer service, account coordination, operations, or a similar environment.
• Telecommunications, field service, technology, or related industry experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Comfortable communicating with technicians and customers by phone.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team.
• Stable work history and demonstrated reliability.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Ability to learn and navigate ticketing/work-order management systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for field technicians throughout active projects.
• Handle incoming calls and requests from technicians working at customer locations.
• Coordinate technician check-ins and check-outs and monitor job progress.
• Contact technicians in advance to confirm upcoming assignments and ensure they have the information needed to complete their work.
• Monitor scheduled technicians and follow up when assignments are delayed or require additional support.
• Enter and maintain work requests and project information within the company's ticketing system.
• Track individual jobs throughout the day and help keep projects moving according to schedule.
• Review completed work and help ensure projects meet established quality standards.
• Obtain appropriate customer approval when additional or out-of-scope work is required.
• Close completed orders and accurately document additional work performed.
• Follow established processes to help projects remain on schedule and within expected financial guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external resources to resolve issues and keep work progressing.
