Canon U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a part-time Dispatcher/Call Taker in Itasca, IL, offering a hybrid work arrangement. You will handle inbound customer calls, monitor dispatch systems, and coordinate with field personnel to meet service levels.

We value accuracy, proactive communication, and teamwork. The role includes weekend coverage and overnight shifts as needed, with a competitive hourly pay range.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of related Dispatch/Call Taker experience considered a plus.
• Strong PC literacy and data entry skills.
• Ability to monitor group email boxes and provide timely responses.
• Excellent communication skills and customer focus.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Answer a high volume of customer calls daily and meet targets.
• Dispatch and monitor field technicians to ensure timely response and SLA adherence.
• Provide status updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Complete administrative duties and time cards on time.
• Act as backup for special projects as needed.
• Coordinate communications across email, chat, and phone channels.
