Job summary

IES is a national provider of industrial products and infrastructure services to various markets, including electrical, mechanical and communications contracting solutions. This role watches over the installation and maintenance of systems to meet safety, quality, and client requirements, with relocation assistance to Boydt on, VA.

The Superintendent will supervise and direct cabling/telecommunication technicians, ensure project timelines, and uphold company standards in voice, data, and

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in data/communications industry.
• BICSI Certification preferred.
• Knowledge of Cat5, Cat6 and fiber optics terminations.
• Ability to read blueprints and project documents, including specifications.
• Must pass drug test, MVR and criminal history check.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to travel within branch or regional territory as needed.

Responsibilities

• Directly lead and work with a crew of cabling/telecommunication technicians.
• Layout work to ensure equipment and information are on site to meet construction schedules.
• Provide hands-on technical and administrative direction supervising large crews.
• Possess knowledge of voice, data, and security installations.
• Lead small to large projects.
• Interface with customer representatives as Company liaison.
