Job summary

IES is seeking a Superintendent to ensure that all work is installed and maintained in accordance with the Company’s and Customer’s requirements, including safety, quality, and management.

THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN BOYDTON, VA*****RELOCATION ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE!***** The role involves direct leadership of a crew of cabling/telecommunication technicians, coordinating layouts to meet construction schedules, and providing hands-on technical and administrative direction for large crews.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a High School diploma or GED equivalency.
• Minimum five (5) years experience in telecommunications or related technical field.
• Minimum of six (6) months supervisory and/or managerial experience.
• Must be able to interpret blueprints and other project documents, including specifications, reporting and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Directly lead and work with a crew of cabling/telecommunication technicians.
• Layout work to ensure equipment and information are on site to meet schedules.
• Provide hands-on technical and administrative direction supervising large crews.

Education

High School diploma or GED equivalency

5+ years experience in telecommunications or related technical field

6 months supervisory and/or managerial experience

Tools

MS Office (Word, Excel, MS Project)
