Job summary

Smartaira is seeking a Construction Manager to lead telecom construction projects from concept to completion. You will coordinate scopes of work with clients and contractors, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure quality and safety compliance on site.

You will oversee contractor performance, lead change negotiations, and collaborate with engineers and architects to resolve issues and keep projects on track. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in telecom construction project management.
• PMI/PM certification or equivalent preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in construction-related field preferred.
• CM or related certifications preferred.
• WiFi/WLAN training and certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate telecom construction projects from start to finish.
• Develop scopes of work with clients and contractors; manage budgets and timelines.
• Select and supervise contractors; ensure quality and compliance with SOW.
• Lead planning with clients, engineers, architects; prepare job materials.
• Coordinate schedules and track progress; adjust for changes and risks.
• Ensure safety standards on job sites and adherence to codes.
• Negotiate change orders and manage stakeholder communications.
• Maintain relationships with owners, managers, designers and trades.
• Address delays, emergencies, and weather-related issues promptly.
