Job summary

Star Construction, LLC, is seeking a Telecom Drill Bores Operator to install underground telecommunications cables and infrastructure. You will operate drill equipment, determine bore paths, and coordinate with field teams to complete tasks safely and on schedule.

The role requires hands-on work in various weather conditions, strict adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to set up sites, maintain equipment, and verify utilities through potholing and bore path verification.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver’s license (not Provisional) with clean driving record.
• Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it.
• Experience with drilling equipment and bore design processes.

Responsibilities

• Determine bore path and locate utilities.
• Safely operate and control all necessary equipment to complete assigned tasks.
• Verify existing utilities by potholing to determine bore path.
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule.
• Responsible for site set-up, clean-up, and equipment maintenance.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
