Job summary

Star Construction, LLC is seeking a Telecom Drill Bores Operator to install underground telecommunications cables and infrastructure. You will determine bore paths, operate drilling equipment, verify utilities, and maintain bore schedules.

The role requires a valid driver's license (CDL preferred), travel readiness, and compliance with safety standards. You’ll work in various weather conditions and participate in site setup and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License REQUIRED for this position.
• Class A CDL preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it.
• Experience with drilling equipment and bore path design.

Responsibilities

• Determine bore path and locate utilities.
• Safely operate and control all necessary equipment to complete assigned tasks.
• Verify existing utilities by potholing to determine bore path.
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule.
• Site set-up, clean-up, and equipment maintenance.
• Work in all weather conditions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
