Job summary

Google LLC seeks a Platform Customer Engineer (CE) to partner with technical Sales teams, differentiate Google Cloud, and act as the customer’s primary technical partner and trusted advisor. You will troubleshoot, build AI/ML proofs-of-concepts, and architect cross-pillar cloud solutions to solve business challenges.

You will focus on identifying, pursuing, and winning new workloads, blending sales, market knowledge, and direct technical engagement to prove the value of the Google Cloud

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
• Experience with cloud engineering, on-premise engineering, virtualization, or containerization platforms.
• Experience engaging with, or presenting to, technical stakeholders or executive leaders.
• Experience in programming languages, debugging, systems design, prototyping, demos, or customer workshops.

Responsibilities

• Partner with technical Sales teams to differentiate Google Cloud to customers.
• Serve as the customer’s primary technical partner and trusted advisor.
• Troubleshoot technical questions and roadblocks, engage in AI/ML proofs-of-concepts and demos.
• Architect cross-pillar cloud solutions and define delivery and consumption plans.
• Engage with technical and business leaders and present practical and useful solutions on Google Cloud.
• Identify, pursue, and win new business workloads and drive penetration within existing ones.
