Job summary

The Teen Program Manager at Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston will oversee the ongoing development, implementation, and evaluation of teen programs, including Ready to Work workforce readiness initiatives, and will supervise the Teen Education Coordinator and Teen Education Assistant. You will collaborate with staff, volunteers, and partners to create engaging, safe programs, manage resources, and participate in staff training and supervision.

Start date October 2026; location Roxbury, MA.

Qualifications

At least two years of relevant experience in youth development or a related field, with at least one year supervising staff.
Experience developing and delivering a wide variety of programming for teens.
Knowledge of trends in recreation activities, community service and teen leadership.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
CPR/FA certification is required.
Ability to work with youth and families from diverse backgrounds.
Valid driver's license.
Flexibility to work clubhouse hours as seasons and needs change.

Responsibilities

Oversee teen program development, delivery, and evaluation to meet BGCB standards and teen needs.
Coordinate workforce readiness programs (Ready to Work Academy and Ready to Work University) for middle-schoolers and teens.
Supervise Teen Education Coordinator and Teen Education Assistant; conduct annual performance evaluations.
Collaborate with partners, volunteers, BGCB alumni, and other staff to offer instruction and events.
Ensure safety and cleanliness of the Teen Center; monitor equipment and materials.
Support staff training and professional development; participate in supervision sessions.
