Job summary

Boys and Girls Clubs of Boston is seeking a Program Coordinator to assist the Club Director in planning, implementing, and evaluating teen programs at the Jamaica Plain site. You will work with staff to ensure high-quality, developmentally appropriate activities for members.

Starting September 2026, this on-site role offers a competitive hourly salary and a collaborative environment at the Mildred C. Hailey Teen Center in Jamaica Plain, MA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience developing curriculum and delivering teen programs.
• Knowledge of youth/teen development principles.
• Strong interpersonal, relationship-building and communication skills.
• Ability to engage with teens and families from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based systems.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery and continuous improvement of developmentally appropriate programs and activities for teens.
• Demonstrate effective teen supervision and behavior management.
• Facilitate teen engagement and participation in programs.
• Coordinate teen programming and extended-hour operations.
• Maintain program spaces, materials and equipment for safety and readiness.
• Maintain accurate membership, registration and program records.
