Job summary

Boys and Girls Clubs of Boston is seeking a Teen Career Pathways Manager to lead youth workforce readiness and career exploration at the Club level. You will coach teens, coordinate internships, and connect members with community partners to create meaningful work experiences.

The role collaborates with staff, schools, and employers to prepare teens for employment and continuing education, while ensuring high-quality, organized Ready to Work activities and life-skills development.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and delivering workforce readiness, career development, youth development, or related programming for teens.
• At least one year of supervisory, program leadership, or internship/work-based learning coordination experience.
• Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and communication skills.
• Ability to coach and engage teens around career planning and employment preparation.
• Must be CPR/First Aid certified.
• Ability to work with teens and families from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate workforce readiness programming with skill development and work-based learning.
• Provide individual and group career coaching to help teens set goals and plans.
• Lead teen outreach, recruitment, and enrollment into Ready to Work programming.
• Support interns with coaching and performance feedback.
• Coordinate Ready to Work curriculum, workshops, and events.
• Develop employer and community partnerships for teen opportunities.
