Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Boston is seeking a Part-Time Teen Coordinator for the Dorchester YMCA to develop and supervise teen programs, recruit and retain participants, and deliver engaging activities under leadership guidance.

Responsibilities include maintaining enrollment, coordinating trainings, and collaborating on community programs while modeling the Y’s values of responsibility, caring, honesty, and respect.

Qualifications

• 21+ years old
• Minimum of one year of experience in youth development or working with teens
• Experience in program management including recruitment, resource allocation, program delivery and execution
• High School Diploma required

Responsibilities

• Deliver youth programs for middle and high school students.
• Recruit and retain Teen Program participants for signature programs.
• Work with leadership to set goals and ensure activities meet standards.
• Maintain enrollment and participation in Teen Programs.
• Ensure teens participate in required training, events and collaborations.
• Attend meetings as requested by the Center Leadership.
• Maintain and care for program areas and supplies.
• Meet reporting and grant requirements.
• Communicate program information and concerns as they occur.
