Job summary

Police Athletic League (PAL) is a nonprofit serving NYC youth. PAL seeks a Teen Supervisor to lead on-site teen programming across sites, collaborate with schools and community partners, and support youth development.

Strong supervisory and program-management skills are essential. The role requires engagement during after-school/evening/weekend hours, with a salary in the mid-range for NYC youth program leadership and a benefits package.

Qualifications

  • The candidate should have a background in youth development and program management.
  • Experience supervising part-time staff and coordinating programming.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with partners.

Responsibilities

  • Foster social and emotional competencies and well-being in a safe environment.
  • Oversee PAL School Teen Programming and mental health support coordination.
  • Recruit, hire, and supervise part-time teen staff.
  • Ensure compliance with SACC regulations and funding requirements.
  • Coordinate with NYPD, NYCPS, DOH, DYCD, and other partners.
  • Plan citywide programs and events and provide on-site mediation.
