The Police Athletic League, Inc. (PAL) in New York City seeks a Teen Supervisor to lead on-site teen programming, coordinate with community partners, and support mental health and inclusion initiatives across PAL sites.

Qualifications

  • Requires associate degree or professional credential in youth development or related field and 2+ years working with youth under 13.
  • Minimum 2 years’ program management and staff supervision; leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with ability to engage diverse families.

Responsibilities

  • Foster social and emotional development and well-being in a safe, inclusive environment.
  • Oversee PAL School Teen Programming and inclusion coordination; identify resources for youth with special needs.
  • Recruit, hire, supervise, and support part-time Teen program staff.
  • Ensure compliance with PAL policies, SACC regulations, and funding requirements; support fire safety and audits.
