Job summary

Summit Public Schools is seeking a Technology Specialist to be the primary technical partner at school sites in the Bay Area or Seattle/Tacoma. You will deliver responsive technical support, maintain site infrastructure, manage IT inventory, and partner with network leaders to deploy tools that enhance learning.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in CS/IT (or equivalent), 1–4 years of tier-1/2 IT support, proficiency with Google Workspace, Windows OS, ChromeOS, Zoom, basic networking, and

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of tier-1/tier-2 IT support experience.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace, Windows OS, ChromeOS, Zoom, and basic networking.
• Willingness to travel between Summit school sites.
• Physically able to lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide rapid, responsive technical support for hardware, software, and systems.
• Maintain site equipment and inventory across assigned sites.
• Support classroom tech availability and digital learning platforms.
• Administer Google Workspace, VMware environments, and content filtering tools.
• Lead high-priority technical projects and document processes.
• Assist in vendor coordination and service agreements.
