Job description

Technology Services: Help Desk/Technician

The Halifax Area School District is hiring a part‑time Technology Services: Help Desk/Technician. The successful candidate will:

• Manage helpdesk tickets.
• Assist with troubleshooting and maintenance of computer technology and information systems in all district schools.
• Install software and hardware as needed.
• Assist all staff with operation of equipment.

Qualifications:

• Specialized training and knowledge in computers and telecommunications technology.
• Required documentation: Letter of interest, resume, Act 34 & Act 151 clearances, FBI fingerprint check, physical exam, signed Act 24 Arrest Conviction Report, mandated trainings, and compliance with Act 168 Employment History Review.

Salary will be based on education and experience.
