Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Manager for the Technology Industry Group within Private Equity Performance Improvement. The role focuses on leading analyses, building financial models, and delivering cost optimization and performance-improvement plans for portfolio companies.

You will work across deal lifecycle from pre-deal reviews to post-close execution, supporting business development and client engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with outstanding academic performance
• Experience leading work streams in business transformation and M&A support
• Expertise in Finance, Accounting, HR and Organizational Design
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare and own major client deliverables, including financial models and presentations
• Lead detailed analyses to support project objectives and client needs
• Design and implement cost optimization initiatives aligned to client goals
• Lead workstreams like synergy assessment, cost savings, org design and financial baselines
• Assist in due diligence and performance improvement to identify risks and analyses
• Develop project plans, timelines and deliverables aligned with client expectations
• Support business development through proposals and client presentations
