Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking an Associate for the Technology Industry Group within Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI). The role focuses on delivering value through due diligence, integration planning, and performance improvement across technology-enabled portfolio companies.

The candidate will lead work streams, develop financial models, and design cost-optimization initiatives, with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with outstanding academic performance.
• 2–4+ years of professional consulting experience with software and technology-oriented clients.
• Experience leading work streams in a business transformation.
• Functional involvement in Finance, Accounting, HR, and Organizational Design.
• Expertise in Role & Job Analysis, Leadership, and Stakeholder Engagement.
• Proficient in Salesforce, Marketing, Pricing, and Margin Optimization.

Responsibilities

• Prepare major client deliverables, owning the financial model and presentation with limited support.
• Lead detailed analyses to support project objectives and client needs.
• Design and implement tailored cost optimization initiatives aligned with client goals.
• Lead workstreams such as synergy assessment, cost savings, org design, and financial baselines.
• Assist in due diligence and performance improvement to identify risks and key analyses.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and deliverables aligned with client objectives.
• Support business development with proposals and client presentations.
• Willing to travel up to 25%.
