Job summary
GE Vernova Advanced Research is seeking a Technology Manager to lead a world‑class team focused on aerodynamic, thermal, and fluid dynamics solutions for GE Vernova products. You will align structural mechanics and durability roadmaps with business needs across Power, Wind, and Electrification, guiding strategy and execution.
You will mentor elite researchers, drive cross‑functional collaboration with manufacturing and product teams, and partner with external organizations to advance technology
Qualifications
- PhD or Master’s with extensive relevant experience in mechanical engineering disciplines.
- Experience leading technical programs or R&D in structural mechanics or durability.
- Experience leading teams of engineers/scientists and developing talent.
Responsibilities
- Define the multi-generational technology roadmap bridging research and industrial scale.
- Lead early-stage development from concepts to field-deployed solutions.
- Shape the strategic alignment of research with Power, Wind, and Electrification needs.
- Mentor researchers and foster scientific rigor and bold experimentation.
