GE Vernova Advanced Research is seeking a Technology Manager for the Mechanical Structures & Durability lab. You will lead a world-class team to invent and develop aerodynamic, thermal, and fluid dynamic solutions for next-generation GE Vernova products.

You will align roadmaps with Power, Wind, and Electrification, working with external partners and government agencies. You will mentor researchers, drive organizational strategy, and ensure execution excellence, while collaborating with

Qualifications

PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field with 6+ years of relevant experience OR MS with 10+ years.
5+ years leading technical programs or R&D in structural mechanics, durability, fatigue analysis, or related field.
Proven direct management experience of 3+ engineers or scientists, with talent development and performance management.

Responsibilities

Translate complex structural challenges into a multi-generational technology roadmap across GE Vernova Power, Wind, and Electrification businesses.
Lead early-stage development from concept to field-deployed structural solutions.
Shape the vision as a strategic partner to Chief Engineers and Business Leaders, aligning research with global needs.
Mentor a team of elite researchers, fostering scientific rigor, safety, and bold experimentation.
