GE Vernova Advanced Research is seeking a Technology Manager for the Mechanical Engineering team focused on research, to guide a world-class staff developing next-generation mechanical design, inspection technologies and advanced manufacturing methods for Power, Wind, and Electrification businesses.

This leadership role defines how critical energy systems are designed to endure, requiring close collaboration with Chief Engineers, external partners, and government agencies to translate science

Qualifications

• PhD in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field with 6+ years of relevant experience, or Master's with 10+ years.
• Experience leading technical programs or R&D in mechanical design, inspection, or advanced manufacturing.
• Proven ability to develop talent, manage teams, and build high-performing organizations.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow a diverse technology portfolio across mechanical design, inspection, and advanced manufacturing.
• Lead early-stage technology development from concept to business transition.
• Collaborate with engineers and leadership to align strategy with product and manufacturing goals.
• Drive Lean, program management, and operational discipline across the team.
