Job summary

GE Vernova Advanced Research is seeking a senior leader to translate structural challenges into a multi-generational technology roadmap, driving durability and fatigue programs across Power, Wind, and Electrification.

You will mentor researchers, collaborate with engineers and business leaders, and ensure insights translate into scalable industrial solutions while maintaining safety, quality, and continuous improvement standards.

Qualifications

• PhD in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related with 6+ years, or MS with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• 5+ years leading technical programs or R&D in structural mechanics, durability, fatigue analysis.
• Proven direct management experience leading teams of 3+ engineers or scientists.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex structural challenges into a multi-generational technology roadmap across GE Vernova businesses.
• Lead early-stage development from concept to field-deployed structural solutions.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing research team with emphasis on safety and continuous improvement.
