Job summary

Lamar Consolidated ISD in Rosenberg, TX, seeks a Technology Bond Project Coordinator to lead planning, coordination, and management of district technology bond projects. You will handle budgets, schedules, and documentation, and serve as the central contact for stakeholders, vendors, and district leadership.

You will ensure timely execution, maintain project records, generate status reports, and support future bond planning.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years coordinating technology projects or related activities.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • PMP certification preferred.

Technology Bond Project Coordinator
Job Description

Primary Purpose:

The Technology Bond Project Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all technology bond projects for the district. This includes overseeing project budgets, timelines, reporting, and ensuring successful completion of all technology initiatives funded by bond programs. The coordinator serves as the central point of contact for project updates, documentation, and communication with stakeholders, vendors, and district leadership.This position is assigned only to bond-related work and is contingent on the availability of district bond funds.

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee all technology bond projects from initiation to completion
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and deliverables
  • Maintain and publish project updates and documentation using district-approved platforms
  • Prepare and submit regular status reports, including cost projections, schedules, and progress summaries
  • Coordinate with district leadership, campus administrators, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely and accurate project execution
  • Track and review change orders, enter orders into the bond project management software, and maintain accurate project records
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, and assist with project closeout procedures
  • Conduct site visits to campuses and vendor locations to verify work completion and compliance with project specifications
  • Maintain records of materials, equipment, and inventory deployed for bond projects
  • Lead preparation and needs assessments for possible future bond projects
  • Standardize and organize project documentation and processes for Technology Services
  • Act as liaison to other departments and respond to requests for technology bond project information
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and district policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years coordinating technology projects or related activities
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • PMP certification preferred

  • Excellent organizational and supervisory skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with leadership, district staff, and vendors using a variety of methods
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain emotional control under stress when dealing with difficult people or situations, as well as frequent interruptions
  • Ability to meet inflexible deadlines, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and perform job duties with minimal supervision following established procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to follow up and follow through with assignments and projects
  • Proficient with project management and productivity software
  • Capacity to learn new computer software as needed

Mental/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors

Repetitive hand motions; prolonged use of computer. Lifting and moving of heavy equipment; stooping, bending, and kneeling. Frequent district-wide travel and occasional statewide travel; occasional prolonged and irregular hours (work on-call and after hours).
