Job summary

KPMG is seeking a Technology Assurance Intern to join our Audit and Assurance team in Houston. You will work with IT audits, help ensure accuracy of client financial information, and learn to document client processes and IT controls with guidance.

You will use data analysis tools including Excel, Alteryx, SQL, Power BI, and AI-enabled technologies to support engagements. Ideal candidates are enrolled in MIS/AIS or accounting, have completed at least one accounting course, and show strong

Qualifications

• Enrollment in accredited college/university pursuing MIS/AIS or accounting programs
• Completion of at least one college-level accounting course is required at the time of application
• Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above
• Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Workday is preferred
• Ability to leverage MS Office, Excel, AI and data analysis tools and quickly learn KPMG tools

Responsibilities

• Conduct IT audits as part of a team, supporting capital markets accuracy and independence
• Learn to document client processes and IT controls with guidance
• Support data-driven audit using tools like AI, BOTs, Dashboards, Excel, Alteryx, SQL and Power BI
• Utilize technology and tools in support of engagement activities
