Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing MIS/Accounting Information Systems or equivalent; CPA eligibility considerations after graduation.
• Upon completion of internship, must have additional academic credits to complete before degree.
• Preferred GPA of 3.0+.
• Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Workday is preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel) and ability to quickly learn KPMG tools and applications.
• Strong technical, business acumen, critical thinking and agility skills with professional demeanor and collaborative leadership.
• Excellent communication, organization and relationship-building, ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver high-quality work.
• Must reside within a commutable distance to the office and be able to travel to client sites; in-person work approx. three days per week.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to conduct IT audits and support capital markets by ensuring accuracy and reliability of client financial information with objectivity and independence.
• Learn to prepare documentation of client processes and IT systems; with guidance, test and document client IT controls using standard terminology.
• Support data-driven audits using technologies and data tools including AI, BOTs, dashboards, Excel, Alteryx, SQL and Power BI.
• With guidance, use technology and innovations to support engagement activities.
